“What is striking – and delightful – with Gilles Jobin, is his capacity to take risks by delving deeper into the raw material of dance, namely dancers and their bodies, in each new production. His style of writing – one of the most accomplished of his generation – dodges the traps of narration and puts the focus back on abstraction.”
